8-Day Tanzania Budget Safari Trip

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park.

Early in the morning leave your hotel in Arusha to Tarangire National park with packed lunch. The drive time from Arusha to Tarangire is about 2-2.30 hrs upon arrival check in at the gate and start the game drives, as it’s possible to start spotting animals right after you enter the park close to the park gate.

The lunch box will be served at the picnic site inside the park. After lunch continue with the game drive for the rest of the afternoon. After drive back to Zayoni campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park (central Area )

After breakfast at 08:00am drive from Tarangire National Park with your packed lunch and game en-route to the great Serengeti Plains via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Later in afternoon drive to your Campsite for the dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti Full Day Game Drive (Northern Part)

Early in the morning leave the campsite for sunrise game drives, during this time is the best time to try spotting the lions hunting and for lucky travelers you can see a kill.

Apart from that you will get a chance to enjoy the magnificent sunrise of the Serengeti plains. Continue with game drives while heading up to the northern part of the Serengeti to search for the wildebeest migration. In the evening drive back to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drives in the Northern Part of Serengeti

Full day game drives in the northern part of Serengeti following the wildebeest migration.In the evening head back to your campsite for dinner and overnight at Nyani Camp Site. The budget safari actually gives you the true experience where you get to camp in the middle of Serengeti!

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro

Early in the morning leave the campsite for game on en-route to Ngorongoro for overnight on the crater rim.

Day 6:Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara (Panorama campsite)

Early morning after breakfast leave the campsite with parked lunch to the crater for the half day game drives in the crater with picnic lunch at the hippo pool. After drive out of the crater to Panorama Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha

After breakfast leave the campsite to Lake Manyara National park for the whole day day game drives with picnic lunch inside the park. After game drives leave to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Day Trip to Arusha National Park

Today will be a different experience of your Tanzania budget safari trip. Enjoy your breakfast at hotel in Arusha and thereafter depart to Arusha National Park for game drive. Continue with game drives in Arusha national Park and if you wish there is an option of walking tour in the park.

After your game drive you will head back to Arusha for continuation of your trip.
