7 Day Tanzania Safari
Safari itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival!
You will be met at the airport upon your arrival by one of our Zazu Tanzania Safaris staff and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Today you will just relax at the hotel preparing for your Tanzania safari excursion to start the next day.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Today you will begin your first day of Tanzania safari early in the morning after breakfast, you will depart to Tarangire National park with packed lunch.
The drive time from the hotel to Tarangire is about 2 hours, upon arrival check in at the gate and start the game drive.
It’s possible to start spotting animals right away upon entry to the park gate.
The lunch box will be served at the picnic site inside the park, where you will enjoy picnic lunch while viewing the wildlife around the picnic site (possibly elephants, antelopes, and monkeys).
Once you finish having a nice lunch break, you will continue with the game viewing for the rest of the afternoon. Later in the evening, head to Ngorongoro Marera View Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Activities: Game Drive in Tarangire
Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti
Today is another day of your Tanzania safari trip. Begin your day early in the morning after breakfast and depart to Serengeti national park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
You will stop at Ngorongoro Crater view point to take photos and enjoy the wonderful view of the Crater.
From there your Tanzania safari trip will continue with game en route to Serengeti National Park.
There will also be an option to stop at the Masai boma, for a traditional dance and learning about the Masai culture. This is all to make your Tanzania safari trip memorable.
Upon arrival to the Naabi gate, enjoy the game en route in the Serengeti endless plains which is the highlight of Tanzania safari excursion.
After an enjoyable day of safari you will retire at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp for dinner and overnight. This well designed tented camp situated in the middle of Serengeti has indeed the safari atmosphere anyone would expect for a perfect Tanzania safari experience.

Activities: Game en route in Tarangire, Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater
Day 4-5: Game Drive in Serengeti.
The highlight of your Tanzania will be more realistic here. In the next full 2 days of your Tanzania safari trip you will spend following the wildebeest migration in the northern part of Serengeti National Park.
The two days will be the highlight of your Tanzania safari trip, where you will get a chance to witness the great migration taking place in the northern Serengeti. This remarkable nature action happens between July to September every year.
However, if you are planning to go on Tanzania safari trip at the different time of the year, there will be a lot of wildlife to see in the Serengeti still apart from the seasonal wildebeest migration.
The other time of the year you can plan for your Tanzania safari to witness the wildebeest migration is from mid-December to end February every year.
During this time the wildebeest migration will be in Ndutu area in the northern part of Ngorongoro.
But please keep in mind that Tanzania safari excursion will still be enjoyable regardless the presence of wildebeest migration. It will just depends of your specific timing you plan to go on a Tanzania safari trip.

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
The day program will start with early morning breakfast. Thereafter leave your lodge in Serengeti and head to Ngorongoro Crater for game drive in the Crater.
This will be another different experience of your Tanzania safari excursion. You will spend the whole day doing game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater.
Once you finish doing the game drive in the Crater, ascend the Crater and head to Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge, near Lake Manyara National for dinner and overnight.
The lodge will be outside the park but it has the safari atmosphere.

Activities: Game Drive in Ngorongoro
Day 7: Half Day Game Drive in Lake Manyara – Arusha
Today will be the end of your Tanzania safari excursion , and you will enjoy your last day doing a half day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Later on head back to Arusha for further plans of your trip.
